Informed by research.
Made clear for people.
Rachel Molnar founded Gather Strategy to help organizations achieve their goals through thoughtful, strategic communication.
Gather Strategy works with leaders and their teams during moments that matter — when decisions carry risk, public interest is high or the path forward isn’t clear. In these moments, successful communication does more than inform. It holds up under scrutiny, earns trust and strengthens reputation.
But not every communication challenge is high profile. Sometimes the greatest impact comes from bringing fresh thinking and creativity to everyday communications. Rachel believes every communication is an opportunity to strengthen relationships, shape perceptions and build trust.
Curiosity and research are central to Rachel’s work. Guided by a commitment to accessible communication, she combines evidence with real-world experience to develop recommendations that are actionable and measurable.
With a practical, problem-solving approach, Rachel gets to the core of the issue, anticipates risks and navigates nuances to provide clients with an effective path forward. She ensures communication meets people where they are through careful choices in language, tone, channel and timing.
An award-winning communications professional, Rachel brings more than 15 years of experience to Gather Strategy. She holds a graduate degree in professional communications, where she applied critical discourse analysis to examine how language and context shape meaning, informing a thoughtful, strategic approach to her practice.
As a settler-owned business working in communications, we recognize the power imbalance between Indigenous and settler voices. In our work, we apply guidance from Gregory Younging’s Elements of Indigenous Style to support accurate, respectful representation and uphold Indigenous knowledge and cultural ownership. This is part of an ongoing commitment to learning and improving how we write about Indigenous Peoples, cultures and perspectives.
